New Gear, New Views: NGC 6888 in the Lens!
NGC 6888 - The Crescent nebula
Super excited to share my latest astrophoto! I recently got my new setup dialed in, and for its inaugural light, I decided to point it at NGC 6888, also known as the Crescent Nebula.
I managed to gather 171 minutes of data using my Optolong L-ultimate filter, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. The L-ultimate does a fantastic job of highlighting the nebula's intricate details while keeping the overall tone nice and relaxed. It was great to see all those delicate structures emerge with the new gear!
It's always a thrill to capture these distant cosmic wonders, and this one felt particularly rewarding with the fresh setup. Hope you enjoy the view!
